BioThis journal is going to be random thoughts and random vents and some actual real life events that are happening in my life....ALL the FEELINGS in this are real. I choose to do this here becuz the myspace blogs sometimes are sort of "looked into" a lil too much by people on there and I need a way of expressing things in just exactly what THIS is...a journal. I did have an account on here a long time ago and unfortunately sort of let it go into a black hole....it's time to start writing again....
Some basic info about me: My life is my music...my drums, the creation of music with my bands and just feeling complete serenity when I'm behind my drums. I have been playing drums since I was 9 years old. My music influences are so broad , some might consider me absolutely nuts but...I listen to just about everything except for Opera and hardcore country. Seriously, look at the interests section and you'll see. I used to be in the all female band Neutron Cafe, that later evolved into Sympathetic Magic.
My current band is called DORMITORY EFFECT. We are an all female metal band....yes all female lol. You can hear that for yourselves HERE or on MYSPACE
I also play in the band SLOW PAINFUL DOSE and music for that will be up soon.
I also am Vice President of a music promotions & booking company with my guitar player called SICK PROMOTIONS. I love helping bands, supporting scene and all types of music and trying to get things to happen for talented people that just wanna play and be real. We do shows every week, and book mainly Metal/Rock and Hardcore bands. Sometimes we have 1 show a week, sometimes 3. For more info on that contact me at the myspace page HERE
I love animals, and wish I could be a vet. I can't handle the site of blood or broken body parts though so that really sucks :( I get instantly happy around animals. I have Three awesome cats and wish I could have more.
I love the New Jersey Devils, hockey is the only sport I like...due to my father and brother's influence when I popped out of the womb.
I have a day job that I hate....typical. It's a paycheck..barely.
For 2008, I'm at a point in my life where I need postive changes to happen...big LIFE changes and that can of course only start with yourself helping yourself. Which is good and bad for me personally......I have the strength somewhere in there to do it, and need to get back to my focus/meditation and zen.....on the other hand, I always need help and support from certain people and I feel like alot of that has been "changing" too which is hard to deal with.
I just know that there's alot going on in my head right now and I need to get mySElF in order...from my health to my living arrangements to my financial situation to my relationships with people...all huge things that LIFE is about.
I'm looking to make new friends on here...to meet people that are true to themselves and true to others.
